The F-5400 is a blind (no display) version of our thermal mass flow meter that is available as an inline or insertion style meter, and provides both an analog (4-20mA) output for flow rate and a scaled pulse output for totalization.
Proprietary digital control sensing circuitry is very stable and yet responsive to changes in flow. This design allows for accurate flow measurement over a very wide operating range (over 1000:1 for the inline version). It also makes the meter ideal for measuring low flow rates. Each meter is individually calibrated and is accurate to within ± 1.0% of reading for standard natural gas applications.
F-5500 Thermal Mass Flow Meters provide direct standard volumetric flow measurement of gases without the need for temperature and pressure compensation. Both inline and insertion versions of the flow meter are available. The insertion design allows for easy insertion or removal from the pipe without the use of special tools and without disrupting flow. Inline meters are ideal for pipes less than 1½" in diameter. The low maintenance design is provided ready-to-use without the need for field programming.
The F-5500 flow meter includes a bright, easy-to-read user interface/display that provides rate and total data. The standard version of the meter is provided with a 4-20 mA analog output and an RS485 interface that is field configurable for BACnet® MS/TP or Modbus® RTU. A second output signal configuration is available that includes a 4-20 mA output for flow rate and a scaled pulse output for totalization or alarm indication.

This series meter is great for where agency approvals are required for Explosion Proof area locations. See specifications.
Inline style thermal mass flow meters include a flow section that is usually specified to match the user’s flow conduit and is then plumbed directly into the process line. This design has the sensing elements mounted directly in the flow section for exposure to the process gas. Our inline style thermal mass flow meters are available in sizes from 1/4″ pipe through 4″ pipe or tube, and are provided with a variety of options such as MNPT ends, tube end fittings, butt weld ends, flanged end configurations, etc. as required. Pipe sizes in excess of 4″ typically require insertion style thermal mass flow meters.
Certified to CSA/CUS Standards: Class 2252-03 & 2252-83 for Process Control Equipment in Ordinary Locations Only; CSA Enclosures Type 4X, IP66;

Multipoint Systems are designed to measure gas flows where two or more sensing points are required due to large cross-sectional areas, such as large air intake ducts or air exhaust and flue stacks. These systems can have up to 5 sensors on each probe. Our System Control Panel (SCP) will average all sensors from all probes. Many probes can be connected to one SCP.
Multipoint Systems are designed to measure gas flows where two or more sensing points are required due to large cross-sectional areas, such as large air intake ducts or air exhaust and flue stacks. Our Series 9000MP Multipoint Systems are installed throughout the world, providing our customers with years of steady, reliable service. Coupled with our new Air Purge System, the Series 9000MP Multipoint Systems are now well-suited to an even greater variety of industrial applications. The probe design supports applications as diverse as ambient air flows in HVAC ducts, exhaust gas in large diameter stacks, boiler NOx efficiency systems and municipal waste incinerators. Our customers include environmental/HVAC system integrators, pulp & paper mills, power & energy companies, etc. across the US, Europe and Asia. The configuration and installation options support facility retrofits as well as the most modern new construction requirements.
